well we have set up lmhost files on the users pc on the lan without server,
set mailboxes and nt user accounts on lan with servers. set users profiles
to synchronize when they open outlook.

What do you mean by "get the users on the other lan to set their mailboxes
to synchronize with the exchange server " How is this done?
