set up mailboxes in the exchange server, get the users on the other lan to set 
their mailboxes to synchronize with the exchange server, i have a set up where 
this works over a isdn connection.

No, only one server runs Exchange 5.5 and the other does not have a Exchange
5.5 installed. Is there any way where the users in the other network be
given email access without installing Exchange 5.5 in their server, if not
is there any other alternative for this?
