of spam, anti-virus, it can encrypt, it can route email via rules

We use Trend Micro and have had no issues w/ it. We just scan for
virus's and use other technology for anti-spam.

mostly due to agravation at dealing with microsoft licensing at the
moment.
other than that, we've been pretty happy with the product over the
years.
we've been running somewhat unprotected for almost 2 weeks now
without being able to resolve the problem. total frustration.
