I have to ask is your primary DNS entry domain-name.com or domain.local? The .local DNS networks don't work well with RPC over HTTP because when the user from the outside connects to your network the name has to match your internal network. Example I have RPC over HTTP working from owa.domain.com so my DNS server was initially setup with domain.com, and I also setup a split DNS. Yes, I'm specifing the domain/username (since I set the Directory Security in FE IIS as Basic Authentication). Internally, after the login box it connects. Externally, I get the "Outlook could not log on....." warning box. > Are you testing internally or externally?
