Surely what you have experienced should be encouraging you to go with
someone who supports their products?

I'm not sure this is entirely the right forum for more general comments
on Symantec Norton Antivirus but I have been unable to install it on
either of my Win2K servers due to a known bug. (Error message Error:
"1607 Unable to install InstallShield Scripting Runtime"). Both
"Symantec's" fixes failed to cure it and I got tired of waiting for a
reply from their help desk. The cure was to revert to version 7.6 which
seemed to load quite well.

I'd be interested to hear of successful installations as that would
encourage me to persevere!

Regards

David S.

Good to hear Norton works with Exchange 2000... we are about to install
it on our 4 Exchange 2000 servers....

Do you have the Exchange 2000 SVC pak 3 and the patch fix installed on
your server..

We would like to hear any suggestions and gottchas on installation of
both the service pack and anti virus... if you would please share..

Thanks,

Linda Wilson
