MessageLorie, Just remember that your 16gb store is about to stop working, (and boy do I mean it.). In Exchange 5.5 it has a limit of 16gb. (Of course if you have Enterprise Edition or E2k, you don't have to worry.) Also, when you defrag, you need AT LEAST double that space plus one half, (so you need a total of 25gb's of FREE space to perform this operation.) When you run the eseutil, run it with the /d switch Best, Jared -----Original Message----- From: ROSSILLON Pascal [mailto:pascal.rossillon@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, September 02, 2002 5:38 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE : Defrag Schedule http://www.MSExchange.org/ Hi Lorie, Online Defrag is normally ( by default ) everyday. Offline Defrag (with ESEUTIL ) : I will say, once a month. We have had our Exchange server running for approx. 1 year and I am about to do the first defrag on a 16 gb store. I am just curious as to how often I should do this? Thanks.
