I have been trouble shooting a similar problem over here for a Trusted domain that has an SMTP relay server for virus notifications.... It seems that some mails are going out but many are remaining in queue. After looking to see if it was an open relay, I visited Spamhaus.org and it seems that Sprint.Net (that domain's provider) has been added to Spamhaus.org's blacklist just today. Qwest communications is also out there... It seems that their mail was being blocked by Spam software using Spamhaus.org as a blacklist tool. Pretty freaky. Any other ideas? Have you looked at any of those messages to see if they are legit or spam?
