Well, by programming I meant throw something that would give a daily/hourly report, delete automatically, and all that. -----Original Message----- From: Carl Houseman [mailto:carl.houseman@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, July 25, 2005 12:37 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Questions about the intelligent filtering archive folder (moving, managing, etc...) http://www.MSExchange.org/ You move the IMF archive folder when you move the mailroot folder. Match #1 here: http://www.google.com/search?q=move+mailroot+exchange Automatic purging is a one-line script consisting of a DEL command, which you then schedule to run every day or every week. Not exactly "programming". -----Original Message----- From: Nicolas Verhaeghe [mailto:nicolas@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, July 25, 2005 3:08 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] Questions about the intelligent filtering archive folder (moving, managing, etc...) Can the intelligent filtering archive folder be moved to a different location? I looked around Exchange System Manager, can't find anything that shows how to select a different folder. Right now it is set to: C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\Mailroot\vsi 1\UceArchive and my C partition (thanks to Dell) is limited. I'd like to be able to automatically purge this folder on a schedule. Does anybody know of a tool that does that? I could end up programming something... If I had the time ;) Thanks! ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp ------------------------------------------------------ Visit TechGenix.com for more information about our other sites: http://www.techgenix.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSEXchange.org Discussion List as: nicver@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Report abuse to listadmin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
