Normally I refrain from helping Cowboy fans, but perhaps this link would be helpful: http://www.eggheadcafe.com/software/aspnet/30852601/new-users-not-appearing-i.aspx
If you're seeing a delay for users that are online, you could be seeing an abnormality in RUS functions, AD replication, or public folder replication or affinity. If offline, it's probably a limitation in cached mode and when the clients get updated OABs.

No you can't do that when in cached mode, but you can update the
GAL several times a day which may get you nearer to what you want. Also, make
sure the Outlook clients download the new GAL of course.
If your Outlook clients operate in online mode, the changes are
immediate.

That is great, but how can you
set it to refresh automatically when you add a new group? Can you?

rate in Exchange 2007
Right now when I create a new user or Distribution group in exnage, it will
not show up in the GAL till the next day. How can I change this to be
immediate?
I know this is a rookie question and I should know it...
Thanks,
Brian
