There are so many steps that you can take to troubleshoot this issue. 1. Event log 2. At run type in logfiles There you will find a folder for each a web site that is running on the server. They have logs with very important information about what is happening with the IIS. 3. Work with only one node instead of using the virtual server name. 4. Remember that IIS gets the settings from exchange and not the other way around Try them, and hope things will work for you. -----Original Message----- From: Manish Bali [mailto:mbali@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, January 31, 2006 7:54 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Public folder restriction & password change for users using OWA http://www.MSExchange.org/ I'm running OWA in cluster server with Active/Passive scenario I have followed step by step instruction( http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=change+password+owa <http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=change+password+owa> ) but still I'm getting the same error http/1.1 503 service unavailable Does anyone have any solution for this? But I've never tried it on a cluster. In a FE/BE scenarios, you need to create the Iisadmpwd Virtual Directory on the FE server, and enable the change password button on the BE server. _____ From: Manish Bali [mailto:mbali@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, January 31, 2006 12:42 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Public folder restriction & password change for users using OWA When I tried the options as mentioned in the below link for password change using OWA I'm getting error" http/1.1 503 service unavailable" I'm running Exchange 2003 in cluster Environment _____ From: Carl Houseman [mailto:c.houseman@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, January 31, 2006 8:34 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Public folder restriction & password change for users using OWA http://www.google.com/search?q=public+folder+permissions http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=change+password+owa <http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=change+password+owa> Match #1 for both. _____ From: Manish Bali [mailto:mbali@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, January 31, 2006 10:18 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] Public folder restriction & password change for users using OWA Hi, Does anyone knows how to restrict user from viewing public folder using OWA in exchange 2003 & how user can change their password using OWA in Exchange 2003 I want that some user should not be able to view/access any public folder using OWA & can change their password through OWA Regards, ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp ------------------------------------------------------ Visit TechGenix.com for more information about our other sites: http://www.techgenix.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSExchange.org Discussion List as: mbali@xxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Report abuse to info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp ------------------------------------------------------ Visit TechGenix.com for more information about our other sites: http://www.techgenix.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSExchange.org Discussion List as: mjtech@xxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Report abuse to info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
