Public folder AND an Exchange resource.

Can a Public folder be an Exchange Resource? I want a folder that is
visible in the Public Folder area as a calendar and also set up as a
resource, (as per http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/MF019.html) which
automatically responds to meeting requests when invited as a resource.

If set up as above, the folder is not listed in the Public folder area,
but free/busy information can be seen. If set up as a mail-enabled public
folder, and make it visible to address lists, free/busy information isn't
visible.

I have tried creating a resource mailbox, and set it to forward all mail
to a public calendar of the same name, and this approach will display
meetings in the public calendar when the resource is invited to a meeting
- however changes to the public folder don't happen in the resource
folder. his means items scheduled in the public calendar still show up as
free time in the resource calendar - resulting in possible double
bookings.

What am I missing?
