Go to the exchange system manager, expand the servers, expand protocols
and expand smtp. Right click the smtp server go to properties. Click
on the access tab and below you should have a button Relay.

Sorry but I can't find the "relaying options", I was looking in the
default smtp
virtual server and in my smtp connector but I can't see the option,
maybe I have
a wrong setting and for this reason I can't see the option.

The sendmail server is not allowed to relay on the exchange server. go
to the smtp server properties of exchange server and add the ip of the
sendmail server in the relaying options. Like this it should work cause
the error is just relaying...

When a mail is sent TO your organization it reaches directly to exchange
server?

I have instaled an Exchange Server 2000, we configured the server to
send
all messages to a smart host (send mail, Unix), when I send a message
outside the organization there is not problem, but when anybody write to
a
mailbox in my organization there is a problem and the destination
recipient could not be reach.
