Hi Ripon

I have seen this a number of times and no one seems to have an answer including
PSS. I know of at least 7 or 8 people that have also seen this but as yet no
one seems any the wiser. I have seen it on both DC's and member servers. The
only vaguely consistent trait may be TightVNC. Do you it installed by any
chance? I was hoping SP1 might resolve this but it is so erratic in most cases
that it is almost impossible to trace.

Any more ideas greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Paul Lemonidis.

  Hi

I'm facing a peculiar problem in my windows 2003 servers. All the servers are
running with latest security patches. The problem occur once in a week .

Problem : After logging off the username and password area in the winlogon
screen grey out. It become disable and hence no logon locally to the server can
be made. All other services of server are running and working fine. There is no
error log in the event viewer .

  Thanks and Best Regards
