Amit,
You have a guide in the exmerge.exe package called "Mailbox Merge Wizard
(ExMerge).doc".
Read it and you will find out how it works. If you get an error when
processing mailboxes,
check exmerge logs and find more details about the specific error.

HI Zoran,
I have tried taking backup with exmerge, but it has given error in
copying mailboxes to pst. Only two mailboxes were successfully copied to
pst.
Can you tell me the steps for exmerge utility i.e what are the options
should I select in the wizard.

Amit,
If you were able to back it up before adding the PCI, then your disk is
probably ok.
Did you install a driver for the card? If yes, remove it. Make backup
with exmerge on another disk or any other location on the net.
Then run isinteg check. If you can run normal backup after that, it is
ok. If not, I would restore system state and try again with isinteg.
"page number mismatch" problem should be fixed with isinteg tool.

Is it the problem with hardware, because things were working fine, it is
when I setted up PCI SCSI card for Tape Drive. But windows 2003 server
does not supported that scsi card. So I removed it after few days.
All the error messages are coming on priv1.edb database.
Although database is configured on second hard disk in the system which
is of 80 GB. i.e (D drive) on which error is coming.
Do I need to replace the hard disk as well. Do I try taking backup on
another hard disk.

Hi All,
I am facing problem in Exchange 2003 Backup. Whenever I start backup
process, it got terminated within few seconds and I getting following
error message in event log.
Information Store (3028) First Storage Group: The database page read
from the file "D:\exchsrvr\mdbdata\priv1.edb" at offset 20656128
(0x00000000013b3000) for 4096 (0x00001000) bytes failed verification due
to a page number mismatch. The expected page number was 5042
(0x000013b2) and the actual page number was 1929384882 (0x730013b2).
The read operation will fail with error -1018 (0xfffffc06). If this
condition persists then please restore the database from a previous
backup. This problem is likely due to faulty hardware. Please contact
your hardware vendor for further assistance diagnosing the problem.
