http://www.msexchange.org -------------------------------------------------------It does work. I had a user setup in a single profile setup with an Exchange over HTTP connection and 2 POP3 accounts. Outlook automatically used the appropriate account to reply to e-mails and you had the option to select which to send as. This was on Outlook 2003 and Exchange 2003. -----Original Message----- From: exchangelist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:exchangelist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Devin McBride Sent: Tuesday, May 02, 2006 1:57 AM To: exchangelist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ExchangeList] Possible to maintain ability to use 'send with' functionality of Outlook with multiple accounts including exchange? http://www.msexchange.org -------------------------------------------------------Anyone know if it is possible to use the 'send using account' functionality with multiple accounts including an exchange account? Here is my situation. I understand that exchange will always send using the default smtp address for a given user. The problem is, I need the ability to select a different account to use 'every now and then'. Not all the time...very randomly actually. For the sake of the least amount of confusion for the user, I would still like to have all email come to the same box so only a single box need be opened for all activities. For example: User has the following 3 emails: user@xxxxxxxxxx (exchange account) user@xxxxxxxxxxx (pop3 account) user@xxxxxxxxxxxxx (pop3 account) **All 3 accounts are setup with GFI pop downloading and download directly into exchange. Consequently, I have smtp recipient policies for verizon and speakeasy. Is there any functional 3rd party app to allow a send-using type command within outlook? We don't mind licensing it as long as it will work. Thanks!
