Ok, the what ever is answering at 208.252.155.131 needs to be looked at.
Whether this is the firewall or not. If it is the firewall, you need to
review those logs.

There must be something blocking somewhere. Check for IP address, domain,
user and so forth.

If I need how to do SMTP commands via telnet I could test it.

Well, you never answered my second question I posted. Do you have any type
of firewall or gateway in front of the server?

When did this start happening?
What has changed?
Did it ever work properly?

John Tolmachoff

First of all sorry john for missunderstanding your question.

1. It was working fine last month but from last three weeks we are not
getting it and they have noticed today this problem.

2. We shift our exchange server from old hardware to new server. We
dismounted the stores and copy 4 main databases to new server run the
domainpre , forest prep and disaster recovery and every thing is working
fine.

3. We do have Checkpoint firewall infront of our email server. We are
forwarding any SMTP/Http port 25 traffic to our Exchange 2000 server. We are
also using the Network Associate Spam software but i have put their address
in white list so it is sure that spam software is not blocking them.
