Hi Ravi
Configure your Exchange to forward unresolved mail to some external SMTP
server. I.e. in your case smtp.abc.com (external).from smtp properties
message tab..

Dear Sir

I have a very typical kind of problem with me.
I have a domain name suppose abc.com (BOTH EXTERNAL AND INTERNAL
DOMAIN NAMES ARE SAME)
Now when i try to send a email to a friend of mine who has an
account on external smtp(friend@xxxxxxx (external email
id))through microsoft outlook, then it searches only inside the
organisation and doesn't find an email id(because the email id is
on external domain name hosted by third party) and returns a
Undeliverable message. Now how can i send emails to this id ?? I
have a exchange 2000 server setup.

Please Help
