You are obviously are from North American judging why you are so confused on what I said. I made my point very clear by saying it would make things easier to companies to want to provide a safe secure way to allow their clients to use Outlook over net without getting into the hassle of setting up RPC over HTTP on Outlook; this leaves it open that yes one may have to still setup RPC over HTTP on Exchange. There are TONs of companies who would the Outlook Live part if it were easy, secure and safe to install. Currently a lot of them don't even use RPC over HTTP because of the head aches that are involved with setting it up. This has nothing to do with becoming an ISP. It's the principle of how it works that I am after. You want them to act as a service provider? I don't get your point - what function of RPC/HTTP do you think you are missing that this provides, the automation of setup on the client side? I guess I don't get it - the functionality provided is just using OL2K3 with SP2 - the only addition I see is who provides the service. Am I missing something here?
