Have you seen this on any other stations?
Few things to try...
Have you configured the exchange account to allow offline use?
On the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts.
Click View or change existing e-mail accounts, and then click Next
dbl click your exchange account to access its properties.
Click the More Settings button.
On the General tab, click to select the Manually Control Connection State check
Under When Starting, click to select the Work Offline and use dial-up
Networking check box. You can also click to select the Choose connection type
when starting check box so that you work either offline or online.
Click the Remote Mail tab, and then set the options that you want for
connection management and remote transfer and click OK, Next and Finish
Restart Outlook
If your still getting the OST error, try renaming the OST file, allow outlook
to recreate, then resync to exchange server..
Does fully disabling the SP2 firewall seem to fix your Outlook issues?
