Outlook 2002 Slow Responding Problems

I finally found out what the problem is with Outlook 2002 - slow response -
there were a couple of other people that had this problem too - so I hope
this helps you out 
There are Send/Receive settings that stop the program from responding if
turned on - in Outlook 2002 
On the Tools Menu, Send Receive Settings - uncheck the boxes that say 
Schedule an Automatic Send/Receive every 5 minutes - - for both online and
offline settings
