Outlook 2000 lost connection to Exchange 5.5

After upgrading from ISDN to ADSL I have lost the connection from Outlook
2000 (or XP)to my Exchange server (5.5 SP4). I can get through by using
OWA or Outlook Express (POP3 or IMAP).
If my ISP uses a firewall (I dont know), is there any ports that must be
opened for me to get through? Can I check if the ports are open?
Can I change anything at the Exchange server to get a work-around?
