RE: Outlook 2000 auto-import of contacts (Exchange 2000)

Using the an existing email to reply causes the client (Outlook) to put
thread headers in the email, containing the information of the prior
email -- which is in a different thread. Using a threaded email client
causes that email to appear grouped with other emails in that thread.

You did, indeed, hi-jack an existing thread. Look at the headers of the
email you sent:

Michael,
Thank you for the information.
I did NOT "hi-jack" an existing thread. I used one of the emails to
reply to but I changed the subject so that anyone who was following the
original post should have no problem. The only thing I am guilty of is
forgetting to delete the rest of the email below my data. Anyone who
was following the other thread would never even know that. I apologize
if I caused any confusion. :)

Kelli

Here is some stuff to look at:

BTW, starting a new thread is preferred to hi-jacking an already
existing thread.

Hi Folks,

Does anyone know of a way to set up an "automatic import of contacts
from a text file or other format?

Thanks,
Kelli
