[ExchangeList] Re: Outgoing mails Auto Reference Number

Look into GFI googled it; it seems that they have a tracking number feature. Not exactly how it works ie. If it puts it in the subject or elsewhere.

thnaks for replies I need to accomplish following

 

When ever any internal user sends mails to either internal or external user, an auto number is added to Subject field and that reflects in users sent items also.. Idea is we want to give a number to every message sent internally or externally thru our exchange server.

If you have switched on Message Tracking, you can get the Message-ID from this.

 

The tracking files are simply tab-deilmited files so can be easily extracted into a database/loaded into Excel, etc.

 

There is almost certainly software out there that does that for you. But I don't know of it.

We are using Exchange 2003 on windows 2003 server ..we need to add auto genarated numbers in every outgoing mails of all the users  for tracking purpose .. is there any special software for this ..or it is possible from Exchange sever itself .. please help me out ..
