RE: OutLook Web Access

Why not just setup a new HTTP OWA site using some name like
owa.yourdomain.com and give to your local users to use? That way there
is no fussing around with /mail /email /whatever, you just go to the
domain and poof you login. :-) If you setup SSL with OWA they will get
the fancy bling bling page from MS for OWA login.

Hi raj,

 

Here in my case I don't want my users to type /exchange which is default
when we build exchange server. I want local and outside users to type

http://x.x.x.x/mail or with some other name so that they can access OWA
2003. Till now I found some alternative which is redirection to
/exchange but not satisfied with it.

I wanted to know is there any other process to rename /exchange to some
other name.

What is your objective here in renaming the virtual directory? Are you
trying to resolve any problems or are you trying to implement a
particular configuration... Please provide more details so that we can

web access in 2003? I need to change it from http://x.x.x.x/exchange to
http://x.x.x.x/myname .

I have one url but it work only for
IIS4.0(http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=174707) . Please help me if
