Open Proxy Server

Hello All,
One of the sites i look after have been told that there is an Open Proxy
Server running on their public IP, this message is coming from their ISP.
I know that the mail server isn't relaying SMTP on port 25, could anyone
please tell me how i find out whether there is an open proxy running on
this network and on which port.
