George

I was having a similar problem, tried your suggestion and it works.
However, I was wondering if there is a way to just do username without
having to do domain/username?

Chris

You can check the authentication for your site using IIS in the
administrative tools. Right click your site and go to properties, directory
security.
It may be a bit easier than permissions. If you only get 2 boxes to log on
with (i.e no space for domain), which you may get behind a proxy or if you
are using Netscape, then you must login with domain/username.
Hope that helps.
Cheers
George

Thanks George. When it was still 5.5 on NT, we just entered
mail.mydomain.com, but I realized that IIS 5 likes the /exchange. The
problem now is that after logging into the web page, the login dialog box
that comes up keeps rejecting the username/password pair. What did I
neglect to enable, or check/uncheck? I'm sure it's simple, but not sure
where to look. Must be a setting with authentication....

Chris

This is the standard page IIS gives you. You need to enter
mail.mydomain.com/exchange or create a bounce page for the default web
site.

Hi all,
I just moved my exchange 5.5 server from NT 4.0 SP6 to W2k sp2, 5.5 is
sp4. I have everything working fine, except for OWA. When I enter
mail.mydomain.com, I get an under construction page. Any thoughts? Any
help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Chris
