OWA aliases with "@" sign

Kings and queens,

I have created an account and set the alias to be the same as the e-mail
address (eg. user@xxxxxxxxxx). If I access OWA using
http://owa.server.address/exchange/user@xxxxxxxxxx/, I get a 404 not
found.

I believe this problem is happening because IE is seeing the
"http://owa.server.address/exchange/user"; bit as a login name for
"domain.com".

I thought about using user%40domain.com as the alias, but it still
doesn't work.

Any ideas?
