I am looking for a way in which I can let guys who log onto the OWA change their password on logon. Can someone suggest to me what I could do. It give an error when a person changes his/her password. regards Thomas Kamire -----Original Message----- From: Jared Teche [mailto:jared.teche@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Saturday, February 15, 2003 1:09 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: OWA - How customizable is it? http://www.MSExchange.org/ OK, that's fair, but what I'm looking to do is maintain the ability for a user to send mail so that they can send read receipts automatically. I do not however want them to be able to send any other mail. My exchange knowledge is unfortunately limited to the basics of administration and I have never even used OWA. It does seem to me that it might be easy to modify what the user sees in OWA with the right knowledge. I am certainly open to other suggestions as to how to achieve what I am looking for, this is just the first thing I thought of. Also, I see that this white paper is for Exchange 2000. I'm still looking for it myself, but do you know of a similar document that applies to Exchange 5.5? Thanks much for your help thus far! Hope this helps! :) Alfonso -----Original Message----- From: Jared Teche [mailto:jared.teche@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, February 14, 2003 1:26 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: OWA - How customizable is it? http://www.MSExchange.org/ OK, let's assume I don't have much in the way of budget, but I have at least a month worth of time to get it working the way I want to starting from now. Where would you suggest I start to meet this need? A.- -----Original Message----- From: Jared Teche [mailto:jared.teche@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, February 14, 2003 1:10 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] OWA - How customizable is it? http://www.MSExchange.org/ We have a new client with a requirement to have read receipts available. Ordinarily, we do not allow our users to send mail. What I'm wondering is can OWA give us the best of both worlds. Can our users have permission to send mail, but with OWA (and we ensure that OWA is the only way to access mail) just not have the options to send/reply/etc. Any ideas?
