Hi,
One possibility is the client's XP and Outlook version. It must be XP SP1 or later (preferably SP2), Outlook 2003 or later, and SP2 or later. There were similar problems with earlier versions of XP and Outlook 2003. Vista and Outlook 2007 are fine.
