No log off icon in OWA

Since installing Exchange 2000 and enabling OWA I have never seen the
logoff icon on the Outlook bar. I have instructed users using OWA to
close the browser to end the session. There is an article on the
Microsoft site at

.asp that describes some customization options but it is rather involved
and I am wondering if there is something I am unaware of that will
enable the logoff icon to appear.
