Newsgroups and public Folders

I want to connect the public folders to a newsgroup. When a post is
posted in the newsgroup it appears in the public folders and when
someone replies to the post through the public folder it is posted in
the newsgroup automatically. Now, the first part works, downloading of
posts into the public folders, but the other way round it doesn't work.
Any ideas? btw it is exchange 2000
