Hi all, I have a bit of a strange problem with Exchange on Windows 2003 small business server and I am hoping it will be something simple. I have been trying to setup the NNTP side where you can get newsgroups to appear under the public folders list however it is showing the newsgroups but no articles in side them. I thought it maybe something to with the NewNews command but I have joined a news provider that does support it and a lot of people have also got it working with them. I have checked the event log and I get the following error codes Event Type: Information Event Source: NNTPSVC Event Category: None Event ID: 90 Date: 11/02/2004 Time: 20:18:11 User: N/A Computer: Server Description: The virtual server 1 has completed an active feed from/to News.Individual.NET. Status is FAILURE. Event Type: Warning Event Source: NNTPSVC Event Category: None Event ID: 101 Date: 13/02/2004 Time: 16:39:58 User: N/A Computer: Server Description: The server was unable to add the virtual root '/' for the directory '/Internet Newsgroups' due to the following error: The parameter is incorrect. The data is the error code. I have confirmed that my user / pass are ok and it does work in outlook express however I am not sure why it maybe failing on the exchange side. All the services needed are started and they have no reported errors. The following is from the NNTPSVC1 log in the windows / system32 / logs folder 130.133.1.4, <feed>, 2/11/2004, 19:52:09, NNTPSVC1, SERVER, 192.168.0.2, 430, 0, 11, 200, 0, mode, You are already in this mode. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate the help. Regards, Gray
