A few thoughts;

Mkowatch has an old rule set to forward to lmalm that just got reenabled
somehow.
Mkowatch is actually a group with the user lmalm in it, not possible I think,
but came to mind Mkowatch's exchange properties, in ADUC, has the delivery
option "Forward To" set to lmalm Some bizarre corruption in the GC...

Subject: [exchangelist] NDR from old user when sending internal to new user

http://www.MSExchange.org/

Hello All,

I have a strange problem, when some of my users send internal email to one a
user they get an NDR stating that a differant user does not exist, ex.
user A send email to mkowatch user A gets an ndr stating lmalm is not a valid
user. Lmalm is a user that left the company over a year ago and this just
started a couple of weeks ago.

System is Exch 2k3 sp2 on windows 2k3 sp1 migrated from nt 4.0 exch 5.5.
