The same way the solution stated, make the SMTP VS use DNS for routing inbound. This is a quick read and the link is below: http://www.winnetmag.com/MicrosoftExchangeOutlook/Article/ArticleID/19716/19 716.html I have not yet tested this, so I will do so and report back to the group. As far as the selection below, that is how I currently have planned the rollout. My only hangup with this solution is I am the only Exchange admin in our organization and if I 'ever' get to go on vacation (you know murphy's law) I would not feel comfortable walking someone through the process of switching the IMC routing preference. Now another small issue in this... If the above link works in Exchange 5.5, then I have my internal solution (create multiple IMC's on separate Exchange servers and point each IMC to the 2 relay servers). Now I only have to find a way for IIS to point to two separate IMC's in the event the primary Exchange server goes down.... Any ideas? Setting up the smarthost is the easiest and in my opinion, the best way to go with an Exchange SMTP relay. --- "John Tolmachoff (Lists)" <johnlist@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > http://www.MSExchange.org/ > > Well, but. > > > > Just kidding. > > > > Would creating a second SMTP connector pointing at the second outbound > relay work?
