It can take a while for AD to replicate the move of the user mailbox, so if you have multiple DC's/GC's then it depends on which DC authenticates them and which GC they get directed too. The server that their mailbox was on also has to be up and running as they will make contact with that server first and then an AD lookup will occur to locate their mailbox. I'm getting errors when the user tries to log in after his mailbox has been moved. Are there any special considerations I should be aware of or configuring to make this move seamless to the end-users? - Chris Nielsen ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSExchange.org Discussion List as: mark@xxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub')
