Syed, You will be installing two new servers as your cluster nodes. Join the existing organization and admin group. Create all Information stores and other cluster resources. Create some test mailboxes in the cluster, make sure all is working well. Do some failover tests etc. Move some pilot mailboxes to the cluster and test for a week or so. Once convinced all is well, start moving all remaining mailboxes to the cluster. If you plan to get rid of the old server you need to make sure you replicate all Public folders and system folders to the cluster as well. Remember to change al connector references to the new cluster server. You may want to change the RG master if required. We now want to move the Exchange to a cluster server, and the enterprise edition of the Exchange server. How do I proceed with this, since we will be moving to a different hardware and software platform, what needs to be done. Thank You. ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------
