Many people have said that it was useful.
As long as you take your time, do things in the right order and do not shutdown the old server too early or before all the data has been moved, then it is a pain free operation. I can usually do it with zero downtime and the users don't even know that anything has happened. Simon.

Everyone! I was hoping to get any personal
experiences (good or bad) about moving Exchange to a new piece of
hardware. I have read all the Knowledge Base articles and otherwise about
how to go about doing it, and they all make it sound like it is a very cut and
dry thing with no issues most of the time but I am still
concerned… So.. anyone? Anyone?? Looking
forward to any responses! ____________________ Richard Gallo
