Thanks, I will go ahead and do this P2V migration as we will be
decommissioning these servers, hopefully sooner than later.

I've P2V'd many different types of servers, SQLs, Oracles, and yes
Exchange to create a test environment, worked great. We have the
Database and Logs on the SAN, so we used the SAN's LUN-Copy utility to
create a copy of the DB and LOG LUNS, P2V'd the server, attached the
LUNs and away it went.

Subject: [ExchangeList] Moving Exchange 2000 to VM

Hello to all,

Has anyone done a migration from an exchange 2000 server to a VMware
slice? I use this environment but one of my two servers is aging. Is
there anything to be concerned about on the "M" drive?

I have used P2V Converted from VMware but not for an Exchange server.

Thanks for your input.

Juan
