I did this recently.  Went from NT4.0/Exchange 5.5 to W2K/Exchange 5.5.  I
used this article, followed it step by step, worked very well.  It may not
pertain to your situation exactly, but it may be a start for you.  It's
microsoft article Q155216.

hello,

I have a "W2k/Exch2k/OWA" Server (W2K is installed as a member server of
the AD domain) and I want to move Exchange on a new more powerfull Server
box....and the old exchange server box will be deleted from the network
Does exist a document that explain setp by step how to do this
operation.....?

I want to realise this whith a minimal impact to access mailbox Is it
possible .....?
