I have recently upgraded to SP4 of Exchange 5.5 for SBS4.5, since doing so
most messages that are sent with attachments are being received with the
attachments still in mime format example below and some messages without
attachments are being rejected also.

I have looked for a hotfix but cannot find one. Can anyone help.

*** message without attachment gets bounced like this****

A mail message was not sent due to a protocol error.

        554 Unable to parse '> ' as key:field
The message that caused this notification was:

***message with attachment is received like this***

>Content-Type: application/octet-stream;
>       name="NEWS 301101.pdf"
>Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
>Content-Disposition: attachment;
>       filename="NEWS 301101.pdf"
