Mailbox size.

Hi all,
We have exchange server 5.5 SP4 in windows NT 4.0 SP6a. We put a mailbox
limit size and some users exceed that size so they can't receive any
mail. The problem even after we delete old messages from their mailboxes
the problem still exist and by checking the Mailbox resources--> total K
the mailbox size is much more than the actual messages appear in the
users outlook. I need your help to solve this problem.
