Fair enough.  Was just curious.  

FWIW, I've found it's better to have a deletion policy than to wait for a
lawyer to ask for them.  That's me though and may not reflect what my
company thinks :)

To be honest, I don't know the answer to that question.
I was just making an alternative suggestion.
Why not archive them? Unless you really never need them, I would suggest
burning them to a CD. You never know when it will bite ya in the butt, or
some lawyer needs them for something.
