Deniz I do not think there is a limit on how big a users mailbox can get, but I for one would not let a users mailbox get to 3Gb in size, I think you should look at using the Mailbox Cleanup tool to reduce the size and then set a mailbox limit if possible. Just my thoughts :-) Mark Fugatt Pentech Office Solutions Inc www.4mcts.com www.exchangetrainer.com Tel: 585 586 3890 Fax: 585 249 0316 Cell: 585 576 4750 Visit www.msexchange.org for valuable information about Microsoft Exchange -----Original Message----- From: Dêniz Feital (Chiptek) [mailto:dfeital@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, September 04, 2002 5:59 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] Mailbox Size Limit http://www.MSExchange.org/ Hello Everybody. Does anybody know which is the biggest size a mailbox in a Exchange Server 5.5 can support? I mean, a user in my company has 3Gb in his mailbox. He doesnt use pst files. I know pst files can support about 2Gbs or 16000 messages. I am a little affraid his mailbox or the entire priv.edb can be corrupted soon. If someone knows some anything or an article about it, please let me know. Thank You all !!
