The Anonymous and Default permissions are already set to Contributor.

Check to see if the permissions for Anonymous and Default on the public
folder are set to none. They should set for Contributor.

Subject: [exchangelist] Mail routing issues to Public folders
http://www.MSExchange.org/
Hello All,
Since a power cut and subsequent shut down, I have an issue with email
not routing to public folders.
I can post an item to a public folder no problem, however if I attempt
to email to a public folder (internal or external) the mail sits in a
queue on the default SMTP server bound for one of our two OWA servers?
There are no mail stores / public folder stores on our OWA servers, the
OWA servers are also Exchange 2000 and setup as pure front end servers
(the exchange services and mail stores are stopped / disabled), these
servers sit in our DMZ. After the default period of time I get a
"Delivery Status Notification (Delay)" message with the following
content :- This is an automatically generated Delivery Status
Notification.
THIS IS A WARNING MESSAGE ONLY.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO RESEND YOUR MESSAGE.
Delivery to the following recipients has been delayed.
Paramount@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
This message comes from the CLUSTERSERVICE.
The public folders in question are all mail enabled and there has been
no changes made to our exchange setup or our DMZ environment
We have a 2000 AD and Exchange 2000 environment, Exchange 2000 Active \
Active cluster (2 node) (Exchange sp 2), 2 OWA servers Exchange 2000
(Exchange sp 3). We have only one routing group as our email clients
are served up via Citrix.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Scott.
