I have 1 SMTP connector in the site, and of course 1 VS per server. I
had previously been routing all mail through a DMZ smarthost via the
SMTP connector, but I removed the smarthost, as it was causing problems
with PF replication, also mailboxes moved to the new server were unable
to send/receive emails after the move.
I have both the Exch2k and the Exch2k3 server added as local bridgeheads
on the SMTP connector.

So talk to us about connectors and the configuration of the SMTP virtual
servers.

Good Morning,

After adding an Exch2k3 server to my native-mode Exch2k site, setting up
PF replication, and moving a few mailboxes to the new server to test,
the application event log on the Exch2k server is filling up with event
id 22, source msexchangemta. category X400 service. Here is the
description.

An error occurred while processing an association. The association will
be terminated and restarted if necessary. [2003 Send CLOSE(ASB) req
Pending receive close response MTA XFER-OUT 15 26] (14)

Any ideas?
