Dear Mulnick, Thanks for your valuable comments, any how I will check this before migrating in production environment. As u say "don't stay in migration mode for long time" in our case we are going to migrate some 3000+ users in a batch of some 100/150 at a time. So we are in need to be in this mode at least for 3 or 4 months. Any comment on this. Any how once again thanks for your ideas and comments. We require the following: 1) Co-existence between the Exchange 5.5 Org and Exchange 2003 Org with calendaring - we plan to use inter-org replication tool (EXCHSYNC) to replicate free/busy and public folders!!!!! - Your comments on it. Is it possible? and your suggestions....[Mulnick, Al] It's possible and should work fine. Suggestion? Don't stay in the migration mode any longer than absolutely necessary to cut down on troubleshooting user questions problems etc. 2) GAL Synchronization - ADC inter-org CA - Your comment and suggestions or any other tools available.[Mulnick, Al] Works fine. This is great, but as above, don't stay in this mode any longer than you have to. You have a lot of moving pieces to your mail system and troubleshooting time will increase. 3) We would like to promote Exchange 2k3 org to Native Mode to take maximum benefits. - When can we switch the mode - Is it possible to promote at initial stage before migration or switch can be done only after the migration. - Does this have any effect on inter-operability discussed above (will SRS required???)[Mulnick, Al] Have you read what the SRS does for you? Take a look at the docs and compare to the approach you're taking. Native mode won't make a difference to you and would probably be just fine. Don't forget to test all of this :) Thanks in advance for your reply Manickam Annamalai, Engineer - Networking Satyam Computer Services-chennai Office : (044)24353221,Ex:3112 Web Site : www.satyam.com ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ ************************************************************************** This email (including any attachments) is intended for the sole use of the intended recipient/s and may contain material that is CONFIDENTIAL AND PRIVATE COMPANY INFORMATION.
