MAC Entourage and RPC-over-HTTP

Hi,
I have some MAC users with Entourage 2004 who want to connect to my
Exchange 2003 server over the Internet. Can they use RPC-over-Http? or
VPN? or is there some other connection method for MACs?
Microsoft's technical white paper describes RDC connectivity but I cannot
give RDC access to external email customers for security (we permit RDC
