To all concerned who may get this error in Outlook

"Outlook could not log on. Check to make sure you are connected to the
network and are using the proper server and mailbox name. The Microsoft
Exchange Address Book was unable to log on to the Microsoft Exchange
Server computer. Contact your system administrator if the problem
persists."

The fix was in KB268575 (Microsoft Knowledge base), it was a missing reg
key in the registry under TCP/IP. A simple fix really, I exported from a
good and ran the .reg file on the "bad" PC, all was good.

Why the key (went away) is a yet to be determined mystery.
Thanks to all who responded,
