Log files not being flushed after backup

Hi all!

I am a bit confused as to how Exchange 2000 handles log files. When I worked
with 5.5 all the log files in the mdbdata dir were deleted after a full backup
had successfully completed (BEX or NTBackup). Now I'm running a couple E2k
servers (SP3) on Win2k (SP3), one of them has BEX8.6 with the Exchange Agent,
and the other is running NTBackup. On both servers I find log files dated back
to when Exchange was installed... The backups are reported as successful, but
the log files are still there! What am I missing here? I'm starting to worry
that the servers will run out of disk space due to these log files growing in
numbers forever. I am not using circular logging.

Any input appreciated!

Cheers,
Örjan
