You have set your Global Settings - Message Size limit to 2MB. That
means you cannot send any message larger than 2MB to anyone in the
organization. You have to increase the limit to what you want. Read the
Help within Exchange 2003 to understand the difference between the two.

Subject: [exchangelist] Limit message size at SMTP

Dear all,

I am using MS Exchange 2003 Server. I have one problem with limiting
delivery mail size. I download mails with POP3 downloader software and
forward to exchange server.

My limit setting at Ms Exchange are,
-I limit Sending and Receiving message size to 2MB at Exchange->Global
Settings->Message Delivery
-I limit Message size for SMTP protocol to 10MB at
Exchange->Administrative Groups->First Administrative
Group->Servers->MyServer->Protocols->SMTP->Default SMTP

The problem is I cannot forward mail to Exchange with SMTP protocol
which is more than 2MB size.

What is the different between "Message Delivery" and "SMTP" limit

Thanks and Regards
Win Than Htut
